THE IDEAL READER HOOK

You are running an online business — a content site, a tea shop, a YouTube channel, an Amazon listing, maybe all four at once. You are earning enough to know it's working and not enough to hire the team it actually needs. You are the writer, the editor, the SEO specialist, the listing optimizer, the data analyst, the customer service rep, and the photographer. You're not lazy. You're not disorganized. You are simply one person trying to do the job of a small company, and the job is bigger than you.

A $20,000-a-month team would solve it. You don't have $20,000 a month.

This book is the playbook for a workforce that costs roughly $260 a month and runs while you sleep.

3-BULLET "WHAT'S INSIDE"

  • The 80/15/5 Three-Layer Stack. The routing rule I use for deciding whether a task should run on free automation, a cheap local model, or a premium API. Most solopreneurs burn 5–10× more on tokens than they need to because they're skipping the first two layers.
  • The complete twenty-agent roster. What each agent does, what it replaced, what it cost, and what it saved. Real numbers, real outcomes. Including the morning seventy-two broken posts went live — and the rebuild that came out of it.
  • A 90-day roadmap for going from zero agents to a fleet that pays for itself. Day 1 through Day 90, daily checkpoints, with the actual templates you'll need at each step.

FAQ (6 questions)

1. Do I need to know how to code? No. The book is written for entrepreneurs, not developers. You'll need to be comfortable opening a terminal and following instructions — Chapter 9 walks through the setup if you've never done it before. The mental model and the system design are the hard parts. The wiring is the easy part.

2. Is this just a list of clever ChatGPT prompts? The opposite. The book argues that prompt lists don't change your business; agents do. An agent has a job description, a budget, a schedule, and a quality bar. The book teaches you how to build those, not just how to phrase a question.

3. Will the same setup work on Shopify / Amazon / WooCommerce / WordPress? Yes. The 80/15/5 Stack and the agent blueprints are platform-agnostic. Pat runs this across WordPress, WooCommerce, an Amazon shop, and YouTube. The specific connectors differ; the framework doesn't.

4. How much does it actually cost to run twenty agents? Pat's current stack runs at roughly $260/month all-in. Most readers won't need twenty agents — three to five is the sweet spot for most solopreneurs. A three-agent setup runs around $50–80/month including the AI subscription. Detailed cost breakdown by stack layer is in Chapter 3.

5. What if I only run one agent? The book is structured so the first agent is the largest decision. Once you have one running reliably, the next four are easier and faster. Many readers stop at three. That's still a 20× leverage move for most one-person operations.

6. Is this book about Claude specifically, or other AI tools too? Pat uses Claude Code as the orchestrator and a local GPU (RTX 5090 running Qwen3) for high-volume cheap tasks. The framework applies to any frontier model; the principles for cost-tiering and instruction design don't change. If a different frontier model becomes cheaper or smarter next year, you swap the back-end without rewriting the instructions.
