Who is this NOT for?

Isn't this just "don't put all your eggs in one basket"?
That's the cliché the book replaces with mechanics. "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" tells you nothing about which baskets, in what order, or how to tell whether two streams are actually independent or just secretly the same bet. Won't diversifying just spread me too thin?
